The Verilife health-related-marijuana dispensary in Columbia Township has gotten the green light from state regulators to open for small business.

The State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy on Wednesday awarded a certificate of operation to Verilife, situated at 5431 Ridge Ave.

Verilife is now the nearest dispensary to Cincinnati with the needed approval from the state to build up its item inventory and start promoting marijuana bud and marijuana-infused edibles and other goods to registered individuals.

It is not clear when the dispensary will open to consumers. A spokesman for Verilife’s owner, Oak Park, Ill.-primarily based PharmaCann, could not straight away be reached for comment.
